Curriculum

An International Education

We deliver a curriculum that is globally and locally relevant for the 21st Century. An International Education is a statement of our philosophy and values. We believe in pluralism: All human beings share the same human condition displayed in many different cultural variants. International Education celebrates diversity and ensures that every act, every symbol, every exchange involving teachers, administrators, students and parents reinforces the belief that, in the end human diversity is an enrichment and a source of strength. At the end of an international education, students should know themselves better than when they started while acknowledging that others can be right in being different.

According to UNESCO, Global citizens of the 21st century must learn to know through having broad knowledge and engaging in in-depth projects, Learn to do, by dealing with unexpected situations and working in teams, Learn to live together, by developing an understanding of other people and appreciating interdependence and the value of pluralism, Learn to be: by developing ones personality to be able to act with greater autonomy memory, reasoning and communication.

Our education is about opening minds, providing our children with the attitudes, skills and knowledge needed to enable them to be fulfilled in their lives, in a happy, peaceful and safe society to which they are able to make a positive contribution.

Our chosen curriculum is that of the International Baccalaureate.

We are authorized as an IB World School to offer the Dioploma from January 2009
We are an authorized Cambridge International Examinations Centre for IGCSE / AS and A Levels
We are a Candidate School for the IB Primary Years Programme
