In a recent debate, students argues for and against the topic :” Students should have the same rights as teachers “. This hot topic stimulated lively discussion. Some students who you would think would advocate for equal rights, turned out to be very pragmatic and argued against the motion. In summary the event proved to be a wonderful platform for stimulating discussions, for students to dwell on subjects that they would not normally have considered and it also allowed them an opportunity for being risk takers in standing up and expressing an opinion.
